I have always written poetry. I started telling stories to my daughter when I was away for work. This led me to realise I could make up engaging stories without much thought. From there I came up with some ideas as I had always wanted to write my life story. Instead I write fiction stories that weave parts of my life through the plot. I am inspired by the talents of singer/songwriters who I see as the ultimate story tellers and have always wished I had learned to play an instrument so I could turn my poems into song.
